Originally from North Bay, I completed a BA in English at Nipissing University before moving to Toronto in 2004 to obtain my Honours BFA at York University. While working and attending York, I also studied comic book illustration at Max the Mutt and through an independent group led by Canadian comics great Ty Templeton. Throughout my life, I have tried my hand in almost every area of the arts, including stage acting, singing, set design, costume design, sculpting, playing piano, and writing. Drawing and painting have now become my main (if never completely exclusive) focus, and I am driven to produce and improve in my skills, every day, by the pure love of it. There is nothing else I would rather be doing.
